FAQS

  • How do I prepare Molecular Lock solutions?
Storage before hydration: Room temperature for short-term storage (month)
    −20°C for long term storage
    For a stock solution:
    (0.1 µg/µl)
Centrifuge the Molecular Lock mini-gene (0.1 µg/µl) to the bottom of the tube. Resuspend in 20 µl of 10mM Tris/0.1mM EDTA buffer (pH 7.5-8.0). Incubate at room temperature for a half hour. Vortex for 20 seconds. Centrifuge for 1 minute. Store at −20°C.
    For a working concentration:
    (~0.1 ng/µl)
Add 1 µl of stock solution to 999 µl of water.
